Voice Actors FTW

I am currently helping out with the recording of the voice dialogue for the upcoming release of our new Dossier game – it’s so much fun! I have become a really big fan of many of the characters in the ND series, and each character is created by many real life voice talents.

I’ll have some fun pictures of my exploits up really soon, until then, why not check out a couple cool articles that I found about voice actors/actresses?

Here are some of the pictures from yesterday:

Obama vs. Darth Vader

Obama Doll + Darth Vader Doll…+ 2 lightsabers = imo the best idea yet for a new Star Wars series!

Safety Notes about our New Twitter :)

Hey fellow ND fans,

I’ve noticed that a good amount of you are now following HI on our new Twitter and that’s awesome! I’ve also noticed that a fair number of you have also created new accounts so that you can follow HI’s updates, but for those of you who do not have Twitter accounts I want to make it known that you do not need a Twitter account to view our updates.

Whenever you visit the link you can see them, they are “open to the world” under that link.

That said, It’s nice to see other peoples updates, but make sure to keep in mind that the internet is a public space.

While Twitter’s setup eliminates most of the possibilities to “easily” chat or give away personal information, make sure to keep in mind some of the same rules used for our Message Boards.

In your updates, you should never reveal any personal information about yourself.

Personal information includes:
- real name
- address: street, city, zip (state/province is ok)
- email
- phone number
- age, birth year
- messenger screen names

You can actually lock your Twitter profile (close it off to strangers) by going to the “Settings” tab in the Twitter toolbar and checking the box towards the bottom of the page marked “Protect my updates”(don’t worry, you will still be able to see HI’s updates)

If you do decide to use your Twitter account to post updates about your personal life, unless it is locked only to your friends, be careful about what you post.

When used properly Twitter can be a great and fun way to keep up with your friends and favorite gaming companies :)

HerInteractive’s own Icicle Creek

It’s so chilly outside! Here’s a picture of what it looked like outside HI headquarters this morning:

Reminds me kind of the “cold counter” in Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. Too cold for Nancy, too cold for me.. :)

HI Library Updated

One of my most recent intern duties involved organizing HerInteractive’s book library (replete, with of course, tons of Nancy Drew novels!). I must be honest, I haven’t had much experience with the Dewey Decimal system since elementary school (I learned what all of the call letters meant then and subsequently forgot everything, now I just memorize the numbers/letters when looking in a library), but after organizing everything I think I could pursue a librarians assistant internship soon.

There have been so many different versions of Nancy Drew: the classics, the graphic novels, the mysteries, …

Here are some cool ones:

 DSCN2846

This is the Swedish version of Nancy Drew (she’s known as “Kitty” to the Swedes). HI has several different copies of the “Kitty” books in its collection. I’ll have to get out my Swedish dictionary to figure out what the titles mean though…

Yes Wii Can!

President Obama’s daughters Sasha and Malia received a Nintendo Wii for Christmas this year and reports are saying that President Obama has added playing the Wii with his family to his list of favorite hobbies.

I’m not 100% positive but it’s more than likely that this is the first time that a president has hosted a gaming console in the white house - I can just imagine President Obama taking foreign dignitaries on tours around the white house.. stopping in the Lincoln bedroom… the Oval Office.. and the living room with the Wii.

I think that it’s pretty cool that our new president is a gamer, even if just a casual one. (I hear he’s becoming quite good at Wii Bowling)

I wonder if they have Nancy Drew and the White Wolf of Icicle Creek?

We now have a Twitter!!!

Check it out at

Along with announcements of new blog posts, we’ll make sure to keep it updated with other fun things that happen – check it every once and a while, you never know what we might post.
